Rolling River Day Camp is one of the best Long Island summer camps for children ages 3 to 15. Since 1993, Rolling River has not only exposed children to engaging summer programming but also has served as an extension to a child’s primary education. The combination of instructional lessons and creative play on a multi-acre recreational facility create out-of-classroom learning experiences that help develop socialization, cooperation and other intangible life skills.

Rolling River is located on the South Shore of Nassau County adjacent to beautiful Mill River. The 5+ acre private facility boasts a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces to accommodate all ages. Air-conditioned indoor buildings include bright classrooms, a professional stage and Auditorium, loft-style party room and cozy cabins for Creative Arts. Rolling River’s impressive outdoor athletics complex features natural grass and turf fields, basketball courts, hockey rink, gymnastics pavilion and more. The campgrounds also include 3 heated pools, 3 custom-designed playgrounds and a riverside marina.

Rolling River Day Camp’s premiere program cannot be compared to other Long Island summer camps. Each camp group receives an age-appropriate schedule featuring a variety of activities including athletics, creative arts, swimming, boating and dramatic play. All campers swim twice per day with a morning Red Cross Swim Instruction and afternoon free swim. Rolling River also incorporates hobby and choice periods to allow older campers to customize their schedule. Additionally, campers in grades 5-8 participate in a travel program to supplement their regular on-campus activities.

Rolling River offers several all-inclusive packages to accommodate camp families. Packages include 4, 6 or 8 week programs, mini or full day for nursery campers and a 2 week intro-to-camp for first time campers. Rolling River is one of the only Long Island summer camps that allow families the flexibility to design their own schedule through the “Any 29 Day” program. In addition to premium program instruction and supervision, camp tuition includes door-to-door bus transportation, catered meals and snacks, on-campus first aid and healthcare, off-campus trips and more.
